On June 20, 2011 Tellago was announced as the Winner of the Best Overall Company of the Year – Up to 100 Employees – Computer Services, Electronics, Software or Telecommunications category in the 2011 American Business Awards.

The awards dinner was held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, where Tellago beat out other finalists including Aegis Electronic Group, I Love Rewards and Thinking Phone Networks.  Elizabeth Redding, Tellago's President and Co-Founder, accepted the award on behalf of Tellago.  "We started Tellago a few years ago with one big idea - hire the best talent, focus on innovation, always do right by our customers, and watch magic happen,  We are very thankful for this award.  When you start up a company organically, as we have, it's great to get external recognition that you are on the right track."

Stevie Awards were presented in over 40 categories including Best Overall Company of the Year, Executive of the Year, and Best New Product of the Year.  More than 2,800 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration.

The award was announced to the company by Chief Architect and Co-Founder Jesus Rodriguez who applauded the employees saying “this award is recognition to the type of company we are building together and is a tribute to all the hard work and effort to take us to the next level!”
