Last year, one of the biggest retailers in the United States engaged us to build a real time analytics infrastructure that provides real time visibility into the sales activity in its different retail stores. Collaborating with our customer, we were able to, in record time, deliver a complete solution that combines complex event processing (StreamInsight) and self-service BI (PowerPivot) engines with a more traditional multidimensional analytics (Analysis Services) and a modern user reporting experience that leverages Silverlight and SQL Server Reporting Services 3.0.
