Cloud Computing

Take your talents to the cloud - Cloud computing is becoming one of the biggest evolutions in the software industry. Tellago has been working with the Microsoft Windows Azure platform since it was a very early prototype. Now we leverage that knowledge in our daily work with customers all over the world.

Cloud Computing a la Carte….

Tellago’s cloud computing practice was born to help our customers embrace the new cloud computing infrastructures in an agile and effective way. This practice focuses on various cloud computing aspects such as platform as a service, and infrastructure as a service in public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructures.

Currently, our practice mostly focuses on the components of Microsoft’s Windows Azure platform such as Windows Azure, SQL Azure and the Azure AppFabric but we also bring together a deep knowledge of alternative cloud infrastructures such as Amazon AWS or Google App Engine.

At Tellago, we are proud of having some of the world’s top thought leaders in the cloud computing communities. Our architects are regular speakers at top cloud computing industry conferences as well as world known authors about cloud computing subjects. Additionally, we serve as advisors to various cloud computing technology vendors which give us a unique perspective to guide our customers in the implementation of cloud computing solutions.  However, what truly differentiates us is our knowledge of both Microsoft’s on-premise and cloud-based technology stacks, which allows us to implement end to end solutions for our customers that leverage the capabilities of cloud platforms.

Let Us Give You an Example -

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) solutions are one of Tellago’s core competencies. Although the adoption of RIFD is growing incredibly fast, it’s still incredibly expensive for organizations to deploy RFID solutions across a large number of heterogeneous locations. Last year, we decided to spin up a research project intended to implement a complete cloud-based RFID middleware solution based on Windows Azure that will address some of the fundamental limitations of on-premise RFID solutions.

This effort materialized a complete RFID middleware infrastructure based on the Windows Azure AppFabric that it has been adopted by a large number of customers across different industries.

At the moment, we find our cloud computing practice rapidly growing as we include the lessons we are learning in our new implementations of cloud and Azure-based solutions for our customers.

Currently, our practice focuses on the following technologies:

  • Windows Azure
  • Windows Azure AppFabric
  • SQL Azure
  • Amazon AWS

Intrigued?

  • Are you thinking of leveraging the cloud for your next software solution? We will help you to envision your Cloud Technology Roadmap
  • Wondering if Azure the right technology for you? Let us help you with a series of practical comparisons of Windows Azure vs. alternative cloud infrastructure based on real world experiences
  • Intrigued about how your solution will look? Work with us on an Architecture Design Session from which you will get a complete vision of your architecture in a matter of days.
  • How do you know if your cloud architecture will work? We can work with you on a very small Proof of Concept Implementation that will validate the different capabilities of your architecture.
  • End to End Solution Implementation? We can build a solution based on your cloud architecture.
  • Ok, let’s do it! When you are ready, we will start collaborating with you.

I am sure you have heard similar pitches before so we would like to give you an example of what makes Tellago different.

BidNow (http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/BidNowSample) is Microsoft’s showcase application to prove and highlight the capabilities of the Windows Azure platform. For the last few months, some of our architects have been working alongside Microsoft’s product team on the implementation of the BidNow application. Among many other aspects, our team was responsible for implementing the Windows Phone 7 BidNow application that relies on Windows Azure infrastructure as its backend infrastructure.
