Tellago recently worked with a very large car distributer to RFID-enable their vehicle processing facilities.  By understanding the customer’s business goals, we implemented a service oriented solution that maintains real-time communication with the mainframe while at the same time achieves near perfect read rates as vehicles are arrived and tracked as they flow through the processing center and eventually leave via car carrier.  By also enabling real time business metric tracking, the customer achieved insight into their business that is only made possible by Tellago’s cross technology, service oriented enterprise ready RFID solution.  

Software design makes all the difference

We recently worked with a very large fashion and furniture retailer to automate the inventory process for their big ticket distribution centers.  The key to a successful solution for to customer involved designing and implementing a software solution that enabled on the fly antenna power setting changes, real time integration with mainframe applications, and differentiation of thousands of extraneous reads caused by open shelving and challenging item physical positioning on the distribution center shelving.  In commenting on the solution to an industry group, the customer remarked that “this [RFID] technology works…the key is in the software that Tellago provided.”
